We are also home to a championship swim team, whose environment is a great way to introduce children to swimming as a competitive sport and is a great way to make friends! Swimming lessons are available to club members on a one to one basis and in groups. Trained lifeguards offer beginning swimmers a chance to get started in the water.

SPRINGFIELD COUNTRY CLUB LIFEGUARDS

Lifeguards3

Our trained lifeguards are Red Cross Certified in Lifeguarding/CPR/First Aid and attend multiple in-services throughout the summer to keep their skills fresh.

The focus of our staff and lifeguards is member and guest safety, which includes stopping behaviors that could be dangerous and watching for swimmers who could get into difficulties. Lifeguards perform a multitude of tasks at the pool, many of which you never see but keep the pool running smoothly.

Lifeguards are not babysitters and can never replace the watchful eye of a parent or guardian.  Please watch your children at all times.
