Memberships are available to Springfield Township Residents. Application can also be downloaded
and mailed to 400 W. Sproul Road, Springfield, PA or dropped-off at the pool office in the NEW dropbox
located at the window of the pool office (available 24/7). Printed copies can be picked-up in the lobby
of the Township Building. Applications must be processed prior to using the pool.

Safety at the pool is our #1 rule!
In order to enjoy our sliding board, diving board and the lazy river pool, a Deep Water Test must be passed for all children ages 10 & under:
Children must be able to swim one (1) length of main pool without stopping. They then must be able to tread water for 30 seconds, get themselves into a float for 30 seconds, tread again for 30 seconds and float again for 30 seconds.
Once this test is passed, a wrist band will be issued and must be worn by the child at all times. We will also record the names of all children who pass the test. Lost or forgotten bands can be replaced one time for the cost of $5. The second time the bracelet is forgotten or lost you must take the deep water test again.
SCC Staff may request testing of swimmers regardless of age when deemed necessary. Swimmers who fail the test are eligible to retake the test.

General Pool Rules
- Members shall present Membership Card upon entering Pool.
- Guests must be signed in and accompanied by a pool member for the duration of their visit. Guest fees must be paid upon entering pool. Members must be at least 13 years of age to sign in a guest.
- Pool operating hours are posted at the pool.
- Adult swims are open to members/guest over 18 years of age.
- No one permitted in pool unless lifeguard is on duty.
- No floats/rafts in Main Pool.
- No pets allowed on property at any time.
- No smoking on pool grounds.
- No running, pushing, dunking, prolonged breath holding.
- Diving permitted only where designated.
- No obscene/offensive language or behavior.
- No glass containers on pool property.
- No alcoholic beverages on pool property.
- No playing on chair lift.
- No flips off the side of any pool.
- No hard balls in pools. Pool may prohibit in-water ball throwing when warranted.
- No jumping off people's shoulders.
- No prolong loitering on pool steps.
- No gum or food near the pool's edge.
- Dispose of recycles/waste properly.
- No electrical equipment with 10' of pool water edge.
- Children age 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
- All injuries must be reported to manager on duty.
- Children not toilet trained must wear vinyl covers over swimmy diaper specifically made for swimming.
- No diaper changing on pool decks or chairs. Changing station are provided in restrooms.
- Parents are responsible for their children at all times.
Main Pool Rules
- Children not toilet trained, wearing diapers or vinyl covered swimmy diapers are not permitted in Main Pool.
- Only 1 user on slide/diving board at a time. Sliders/Divers must exit quickly to closest ladder.
- Personal flotation devices are not permitted on the slide or dive.
- Backflips are not permitted on diving board.
- No flotation devices beyond 3-foot area.
- Adult swims daily when warranted.
- Rafts not permitted in Main Pool.
- Sliders must enter pool feet first.
- One bounce per dive on diving board.
- Deep Water Test required for slide and /diving board users. Upon passing test wristbands must be worn daily.
- Any child using a personal flotation device must be within one arms reach of parent/guardian at all times.
- All General Pool Rules apply.
River Pool Rules
*This pool has moving water.
- Deep Water Test required for river users. Upon passing test wristbands must be worn daily.
- Children not toilet trained, wearing diapers or vinyl covered swimmy diapers are not permitted in River Pool.
- Rafts provided by SCC Pool permitted - adults may use noodles.
- No arm floats.
- All General Pool Rules apply.
Baby Pool Rules
- Baby pool is for children 6 years of age and under.
- All children must be accompanied by adult at all times.
- No diving.
- Children wearing "swimming diapers" must wear vinyl diaper covers covering diaper specifically made for swimming.
- All General Pool Rules apply.
